We are now seeking an experienced Pastry Chef with the ability to lead a team and manage the pastry section in this premier venue. This five star venue boasts among several of it's modern facilities a large modern kitchen enabling the successful candidate to consistently produce a range of quality pastries and desserts. The person we are seeking will have the experience to lead the pastry team and manage the section and will have demonstrated experience within a five star or fine dining environment as a senior Pastry Chef. To be considered for this role you must have the following skills and experience: - At least 3 year's Pastry experience in a Restaurant or Hotel
- Competency in all aspects of Pastry Production
- Experience in a la carte and function service
- The ability to lead a team and manage your section
- A proven ability to remain consistent in a high volume venue
- A demonstrated ability to follow direction
- Knowledge of kitchen Hygiene practices and HACCP regulations
