About The Role
My client is seeking a number of chef de parties and demi and commi chefs to join this professional dynamic kitchen brigade for their luxurious buffet dining area and hatted A la Carte restaurant. Reporting to and working closely with the Executive Chef you will be able to hit the ground running and become and integral part of the team. There are 3 major positions available for chefs whose strengths lie in either one of the following areas: a la carte prep and service, Production kitchen skills and Garde Manger. You will be willing and able to train and guide new and existing associates in the required skills and knowledge and be totally involved in the hotel's operation keeping up-to-date with events within the hotel.
Skills & Experience
- Trade qualifications essential
- Creativity and passion for the industry
- previous experience and knowledge of A la Carte, Buffet and outdoor catering styles
- The ability to work rotating shifts across 7 days.
- True desire to succeed in this profession.
- Previous 5 Star Experience in a larger kitchen brigade is highly regarded
