This Historic Venue located only an hour away from Melbourne currently enjoys a bustling trade, from both locals and tourists. The focus has always been on providing great food and great service to our customers – we've enjoyed a great deal of success. Now, we want to take it to the next level. We are looking for the right person to bring their significant culinary experience and passion for great food to our pub, and really ramp it up.The position is for a Head Chef, who can take charge of our kitchen and people and make it their own. The successful candidate needs to bring innovation and awareness of current food trends, whilst still being respectful of the features that have our customers return time and time again.The attributes that we need you to have are:You will have energy and drive to achieve the vision that you and the business owners createYou will have excellent management skills, both financial and peopleYou will value your team and the business, seeking to grow both whenever possibleThe operators know that you cannot do this all by yourself; they are undertaking significant renovations this financial year (focusing on the kitchen and new alfresco dining area). Starting remuneration is $75K, but success generates rewards.
