As Head Chef you will be responsible for leading and managing the kitchen team as well as putting forward menu designs and concepts. The role will also entail managing the operations and costs of the kitchen.
The successful applicants will need to demonstrate the following:
- Good control of kitchen operations
- Previous experience with a busy restaurant
- Ability to create and cost a fresh and on-trend menu
- Full knowledge of financials - COGs, Labour, Wastage, P&L
- Able to establish policy and procedure
- Staff hiring, training and development
