TaniaTania’s experience provides her with an excellent understanding of retail from a senior strategic level as well as grass roots perspective, enabling her to provide you with effective executive recruitment solutions.

Armed with a BA Hons in Psychology, Tania spent two years as a successful recruiter for leading Auckland and Hamilton agencies, whilst qualifying as an Associate of the Institute of Personnel Consultants. She returned to university to study for an MA in Clinical Psychology, and it was during this time she set forth on her retail and entrepreneurial journey.

Her business career was launched by co-founding a retail group, which she took from one store to eight in a few short years. In addition, Tania and her manufacturing partners developed a clothing label which became a successful brand distributed throughout NZ and Australia. After seven years, Tania sold her shares in these businesses. She then spent a year as NZ Sales Manager (retail and wholesale) for a leading Australian fashion brand based in Newmarket, and acted as a consultant to various businesses.

Her next entrepreneurial venture was Fitness Life magazine, which she co-founded in 2002 and sold in 2012. As publisher she developed strategic alliances with key accounts (supermarkets, bookstores and service stations) both in NZ and Australia, further developing her knowledge of the retail sector. As a subsidiary to the magazine, Tania also developed and ran the Fitness Life Awards from 2005-2009.

Tania’s career combines sales, marketing and media experience, plus national retail management including leasing, finance and franchise management through to buying, sales training, distribution and recruitment. Her experience as a business and multisite retail owner means she is keenly aware of the importance of attracting and maintaining the right people to drive your company’s success.

Tania joined Frontline in 2015 to establish the Auckland Executive Retail Agency. Tania’s focus is on developing trusted client relationships and providing excellent service and support to her clients and candidates.
