Discovery call:

The first phone call uncovered Holly’s career history and aspirations. Having faced challenges in her previous role with limited communication and support, Holly was seeking a change. Overall, Holly was looking for flexibility to fit in with her studies. She was really enjoying living in Broome and was looking for a salary on par with her previous position.

The first chat went well, so they agreed to meet in person the next day to get to know each other and the opportunity a bit more. Sophie explains, “During our interview we connected well and shared some retail stories. We then discussed my client, their history, their culture, the opportunity and why the role was vacant.”

The job interview:

With initial conversations going well, Sophie set up a job interview with her client the next day, “I managed all the noise in the background for her, arranged and scheduled the interview day, time, venue etc, ensuring confidentially throughout the whole process.”

Sophie provided Holly with resources to help her research the company and armed her with the full job brief, offering support and guidance leading up to the interview.

The job offer:

Holly nailed the interview and her glowing reference checks came through quickly. So, she was offered the position.
