Desiree’s exposure to the construction sector stretches back to 2004 when she was a Business Development Manager for a construction products manufacturer. Being naturally driven and packing a vibrant personality, she was able to exceed all expectations in this role. After three years she took her skillset into the recruitment sector and spent the next eight years working in the executive recruitment space as well as permanent recruitment in Financial services, IT Business Analyst and Project management space. She built a team under her and really excelled in Agency recruitment.

In 2011, Desiree was tasked with establishing a Mining desk and started recruiting for Mining Engineers, Superintendents and Geologists. After years of Agency work, Desiree moved her recruitment experience in-house and she became the Internal Talent Resource and Operations Administrator in an international recruitment agency. She was responsible for sourcing and recruiting graduates, consultants, team leaders and managers for the Oil & gas, mining, tax & legal, risk & audit and technology sectors. Desiree is a natural at building strong relationships and this combined with her ability to manage so many competing priorities at the same time, has made her highly successful with Frontline Construction Recruitment.
